About Us

AR without compromise.

Imre Tech is an independent hardware company building augmented reality the hard way — full-stack and in-house. Optics, computer vision, sensor fusion, and the AR environment itself are all developed under one roof.

The long-term goal is simple to say and hard to do: premium consumer AR hardware you'd actually want to wear, from a company small enough to sweat every detail.

About Imre

Built by one person.

Imre Tech was founded by Hunter to build AR hardware without compromise. VIOX has been in continuous development for three years — from a single stereo camera on a desk to a complete, self-contained headset.

Every line of code, every calibration routine, and every soldered joint in VIOX was done by hand, by one person. A provisional patent was filed in 2026, and work is underway on a custom mainboard and refined industrial design.
